Carrie Marshall is a former early childhood educator and kindergarten teacher. She is in her second year as a literacy coach for the department of education and early years in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Play and learning through play has been a passion of hers since she graduated with her BA in early childhood education in 1989. Since then, she has made it her mission to promote play-based learning from early childhood classrooms to elementary, and beyond.
