Janice Novakowski is a district teacher consultant and adjunct professor in British Columbia, Canada. She facilitates the BC Reggio-Inspired Mathematics Project and is part of the BC Numeracy Network and Indigenous Mathematics Education Network. Her research interests include early mathematics concepts, project-based and concept-based pedagogical approaches, and pedagogies that honour children’s thinking.
