Kristine Barnes
Kristine Barnes has a BS in preK-6, an MEd in reading instruction, and holds a PA Reading Specialist preK–12 certificate. Before all of those things, she was an elementary student who struggled in all aspects of literacy due to undiagnosed ADHD and a hearing disability. This experience created a passion for literacy paired with hands-on learning in order to best meet the needs of all students. She has written curriculum and grants in her district that support this goal, as well as presented at conferences including ISTE, PETE&C, KSLA, PA Creativity Conference, and PCTELA.
