Luciana San Esteban is a fifth-grade dual language teacher in Austin, Texas. Her passions include bringing culturally sustaining literature into the classroom, complicating curriculum through Indigenous authors, and uplifting children’s voices through their writing. She dreams of a future where students navigate the current political climate with strong media literacy and believe in the power of their voice as writers.
